Revolutionise your picture archiving!
Photo GPS from Jobo uses the latest Satellite technology capturing the Geo-data of each individual image shot to assist with identification, sorting and organizing your images. The Jobo GPS unit simply slips onto the hot shoe of your camera* so that every time the shutter is pressed to take a picture, the Photo GPS unit will receive a signal through the hot shoe and record the Geo-data location details into its internal memory. Once you return to base you simply need to launch the Photo GPS software, connect the Photo GPS unit by its USB cable and open the folder containing the images you have shot. The software will then, at the touch of a button, match the data from the Photo GPS unit with the images taken, add the GPS coordinates of each image taken and then search a worldwide database to retrieve the street location, town and points of interest relating to each image. The data gathered by the Photo GPS unit and its software can then be added into the IPTC data for each image automatically making this the perfect unit to help with cataloging and sorting your images. The expected battery duration of the unit is several months, depending on usage, as it incorporates sophisticated battery technology which only switches the unit on when an images is taken and switches the unit off immediately afterwards once the GPS location is recorded (typically a fraction of a second). Once the GPS data is added to you files, you can easily organise and sort your images by their location and view where your images were shot via Google earth or similar applications. The Photo GPS unit is supplied with a USB cable for computer connection and charging, Photo GPS matching software, organiser and viewing software.
